Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany silences Chiefs haters with blunt four-word message after AFC title win

 

Once again the Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl bound.

Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and co. showed that you can never write them off after going into the No.1 seeded Ravens’ house in the AFC title game and coming away with a 17-10 win.

Despite winning the Super Bowl last year, the Chiefs have had their critics all season long and were seen as underdogs heading into the clash in Baltimore.

After the reigning champs advanced to Super Bowl LVIII, Mahomes’ wife Brittany silenced the doubters with a blunt message on Instagram.

In a post shared on her Instagram Stories, Brittany wrote, “We went there. We won. Anyone have anything else to say?”

She then signed it off with a gleeful four-word note.

“See y’all in Vegas,” she penned.

Brittany then shared a separate photo of her and her husband on the field, writing: “Just so incredibly proud of this guy!”

Mahomes’ wife even shared a video of Pat Mahomes Sr smoking a cigar, stating that she had to mute the video for everyone else’s sake.

Brittany has never been one to shy away from criticism, and in December clapped back at fans mocking her budding friendship with Taylor Swift.

“Recently there has been A LOT more rude a** people on here,” she wrote in her Instagram Story.

“Waaaay more than normal… I’m not sure where y’all came from, but you should probably go back to where you came from… please.”

Before the game against the Ravens, Brittany and Swift – who is dating Chiefs tight end Kelce – were seen entering M&T Bank Stadium together.

They watched the game from a private suite like they have done on several other occasions this season.

The pair recently braved the icy conditions in Buffalo wearing matching jackets with their respective significant other’s name and jersey number emblazoned on them.

The bespoke “Kelce” and “Mahomes” jackets were designed by Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.

The Chiefs were dominant in their road win over the Ravens in the AFC Championship game.

Mahomes threw for 241 yards and one touchdown while Kelce scored the first touchdown of the game and caught 11 catches for 116 yards.

The TE also managed to break Jerry Rice’s postseason receptions record of 151, grabbing his 152nd catch of his playoff career.

Kansas City are just one win away from their third Super Bowl title in five years and take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on 11 February.

The matchup will be a repeat of Super Bowl LIV in 2020 which the Chiefs won 31-20.
