Both Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce were impressed with Taylor Swift‘s beer chugging skills after she was shown quickly downing a glass of the beverage then slamming it on the table in celebration ​at Super Bowl 2024.

Jason, 36, said during the brothers’ Wednesday, February 14, episode of their “New Heights” podcast that he wasn’t sure what was going on when Taylor, 34, and pal Ashley Avignone grabbed their beers and started chugging. It was “pretty cool to see,” he admitted.

“She’s getting after it,” he noted about the video, which was seen by the entire audience at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as ​viewers at home on Sunday, February 11.

Travis, 34, noted, “She’s done this before. She’s a pro.”

The “Cruel Summer” singer has been seen imbibing at Travis’ games ever since they made their romance public when she attended Kansas City’s matchup against the Chicago Bears on September 24, 2023. However, her beer chugging skills still impressed many on social media.

“Taylor Swift chugging a full beer at the Super Bowl is the most American thing you’ll see today,” one person wrote on X while posting the video during the Super Bowl. Another added, “Taylor Swift chugging a beer on the Jumbotron is pure game day energy.” One person said the singer was “one of us” with her beer talent, while another wrote that she chugged, “Like a boss.”

The 14-time Grammy winner revealed she previously gave up alcohol while training for her Eras tour, which kicked off in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023.

“I was really disciplined about drinking. I stopped drinking for a couple months before the show except for on ​[2023] Grammy night, which was hilarious. I gave myself a fun night for that one,” she told Time magazine on December 6, 2023, after being named Person of the Year.

Taylor didn’t drink while on tour either, as she didn’t want to feel the aftereffects. “Doing that show with a hangover,” she said, “I don’t want to know that world.”

The ​”Karma” songstress’ last U.S. Eras tour dates were in Los Angeles in early August 2023, so she had plenty of time to kick back and enjoy watching Travis play throughout his football season and playoff run, where she attended 13 games. Taylor’s one exception was the South American leg of the Eras tour, where she played three cities in November 2023.

Taylor kicked off the Asia and Australia legs of the Eras tour in Tokyo, Japan, on February 7, but flew back to the U.S. immediately after the final show ​on February 10, in order to watch Travis play in the Super Bowl.

After the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime, Taylor and Travis had a great time celebrating at the afterparty where they danced, kissed and had a blast.

While all the action happened between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers on the field at the Super Bowl LVIII, there was just as much going on in the suite where Taylor Swift and Jason Kelce were watching, with the Grammy winner gaining attention for one particular moment when she chugged her drink on the jumbotron screen.

Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, finally got the chance to see the moment and share his thoughts in the newest episode of his podcast with his brother, New Heights, and he confidently cheered Swift on.

As the clip played, Jason, 36, shared his perspective, saying, “I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t know what was going on at first. I was sitting behind them, and I saw them go for the drinks, and then I was [like], oh, this is happening. Chug, chug! She’s getting after it.”

“Pretty cool,” he concluded before Travis, 34, said, “This is on the jumbotron, nice! Oh, and then the slam down!” The Chiefs tight end then declared, “She’s done this before, she’s a pro.”

“Not her first rodeo,” Jason agreed.

“Man it was the grreatest Superbowl ever and Taylor made it more entertaining,” wrote one fan in the comments of the podcast on YouTube.

Jason Kelce got a taste of what it’s like to be Taylor Swift as they shared a suite at Super Bowl 2024. He was overwhelmed, as so many celebrities wanted to meet and greet the pop superstar at the game.

“Turns out everyone wants to meet Taylor,” Jason, 36, revealed to his brother and Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, on their Wednesday, February 14, “New Heights” podcast. “Shaq came in the suite,” he added, referring to NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

“I think it was my first understanding of some of the things that she has to deal with. Because there’s a lot of star-studded people there and it’s like, ‘Dude, everyone wants to come see her but the suite’s only so big.’ It was overwhelming to be honest with you,” Jason explained.

“I was going outside the suite; I was talking to Keegan-Michael Key and his wife and a bunch of people. The celebrity attendance at the game was pretty unreal,” the Philadelphia Eagles star continued.

Travis, 34, assured Jason that while it might have been a lot for him to absorb, the 14-time Grammy winner, 34, was just fine. “Taylor thrives in those situations. She’s been in them countless times in her life,” the three-time Super Bowl champ said.

Jason and wife Kylie Kelce were the first to arrive at the suite inside Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium for the Super Bowl matchup between Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. They were soon joined by the brothers’ mom, Donna Kelce, ​and then Taylor arrived with some famous friends, including Blake Lively and Ice Spice.

Throughout the game, more celebrity pals made their way to Taylor’s suite with the Kelce family. Singer Lana Del Rey was seen chatting with the “Karma” singer during the second quarter. Towards the end of the game, Miles and Keleigh Teller joined Taylor and were part of the celebration inside the suite when the Chiefs won in overtime by a score of 25-22.

Shaq, 51, may have had an alternative motive for wanted to meet Taylor, as he seemingly wanted to get close to Ice Spice. He shared an Instagram photo posing with the two women at the game on Tuesday, February 13, writing in the caption, “And @icespice is so damn fine thanks @taylorswift.”

Jason first met Taylor when he and Kylie, 31, joined the “Willow” songstress in the family suite at ​the Chiefs’ playoff road game against the Buffalo Bills on January 21. His Eagles were knocked out of the playoffs the week prior in the wild card round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Ohio native ended up stealing the show from Taylor, as he went shirtless and celebrated a Chiefs touchdown by crawling out of their suite and into the stands with a beer in hand.

While Kylie warned Jason to be on his “best behavior” at the game alongside the Taylor, he threw caution to the wind and let loose.

“I don’t think she was happy about it, to be honest with you,” Jason told Travis on their “New Heights” podcast on January 24. “I’m not going to lie, I gave Kylie a heads up. The moment we get into the suite I said, ‘I’m taking my shirt off and jumping out of that suite.’ And she said, ‘Jason don’t you dare.’” His celebrations went viral, and Taylor seemed to love it, as they were seen hugging and giving each other high-fives.
