WWE star Mick Foley breaks down in tears over Taylor Swift story after she cared for kids who had lost mom to cancer

Foley revealed that Swift had baked cookies and sang in the living room for a friend’s kids

WWE legend Mick Foley has opened up about a personal story with Taylor Swift.

It seems everyone is sharing their opinions on the Grammy award-winning singer, but Foley, 58, wanted to ensure people heard his story.

In a week where Swift returned to life on tour in Australia just days after watching boyfriend Travis Kelce lift the Super Bowl in Vegas, Foley gave his reasons for being a “Swiftie”.

The retired wrestler took to Facebook to tell a touching story of when Swift helped Foley’s fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett.

Jarrett sadly lost his wife and childhood sweetheart, Jill, to cancer back in 2007 and Swift stepped in to look after the 56-year-old’s kids.

Foley explained on Facebook that he had heard his old friend Jarret discussing that “Taylor took the girls out for the day” after his heartbreaking loss.

And the Indiana-born star revealed that he was in shock when he discovered the “Taylor” Jarrett was discussing was in fact Taylor Swift.

He wrote: “I was literally stunned to find out that the Taylor he had mentioned was Taylor Swift, who in 2007 was already well on her way to being a global superstar.”

He added: “As touched as I was by this story, I thought it was a random act of kindness done on a one-time basis.

“But I came to understand that Taylor, who had become a neighbor of Jeff’s in Hendersonville, Tennessee, was a regular part of the girls lives as they grew up.

“She did not just take them out for that one day; she was there for them during the most difficult part of their lives.

“She baked cookies, she sang in their living room, she babysat while Jeff was at his wife’s bedside; she was a true friend and a shining example of kindness when kindness was needed most.”

And Foley explained that Jarrett had labelled Swift as a “special young lady” in a text also detailed that the superstar singer once cast his daughter Jaclyn in a music video.

Foley confessed that reminiscing about the text was leaving him in tears as he remembered the special moment.

He wrote: “I got tears in my eyes when I read that message from Jeff – and I’m grateful that he has allowed me to share it with all of you.”

Swift is now back to her work on the Eras Tour in Australia as she continues to make waves both on and off the stage.
