Taylor Swift drives her fans wild with an unexpected nod to Travis Kelce in Dublin
Kelce did not attend the show, but his influence remains

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift put a cultural crossover in motion when they reunited on stage at one of the singer-songwriter’s recent shows at London‘s Wembley Stadium. Kelce stunned a capacity crowd of around 90,000 fans when he stepped on stage as Swift performed “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart,” an instantly-iconic moment that Swift later addressed in a viral Instagram post.
Although Kelce did not attend Swift’s subsequent shows at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, the Kansas City Chiefs star’s influence remains obvious. Swift is still thinking about him, even as she performs — and Swifties were stunned by the Grammy winner’s latest gesture toward him.
Taylor pulls out her bow and arrow
At Friday night’s show in Dublin, Swift performed the song “Midnight Rain,” from her 2022 album “Midnights.” While singing the lyric “And he never thinks of me / Except when I’m on TV,” Swift brought out the mock bow and arrow to re-enact a signature Kelce move: the archer.
Kelce first came up with “the archer” move as a way to get pumped up before a Chiefs game. On an episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Kelce revealed that the dance was a way to symbolize his “shoot for the stars” mentality — and Swift, his superstar girlfriend, has adopted the celebration as part of her stage show.

Of course, it is not the first time that Swift has paid homage to Kelce by re-enacting his famed celebration. It was only nine days ago that Swift pulled out the archer with Kelce in attendance at her first London show, while performing the song “So High School” — which many believe is about Kelce himself.

Following one more show in Dublin on Sunday night, Swift will head to Amsterdam for three concerts, beginning July 4. She returns to London in August for five more shows that will close out the European leg of her Eras Tour.
