Taylor Swift shows her commitment to Travis Kelce with bold romantic gesture to be part of Chiefs’ season
The global popstar is prepared to fly across the world to see her other half
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
The refreshing thing about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship is that they are living proof that absence makes the heart fonder, as the old adage tells. And as her NFL star boyfriend prepares for the new season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Swift is preparing to make the ultimate gesture to her other half.
Reports suggest that despite the fact her sellout global ‘Eras Tour’ is still ongoing, the 34-year-old is planning to jet across the United States to catch tight end Kelce, also 34, in action.
Taylor Swift lights up when she spots Travis Kelce in VIP tent at Eras Tour
“She’s going to try to attend as many games as possible,” a source told People Tuesday, referring to the Kansas City Chiefs’ upcoming season.
There is the small issue that Swift will be playing shows on the $1 billion tour until December 8, as it concludes in Vancouver, Canada. That means there will be a three-month overlap with the start of the NFL regular season.
But as she proved last season, the ‘Anti-Hero’ artist is only too happy to hop on her private jet and take in the game from the VIP box – be it at Arrowhead Stadium or an away venue.
Swift watched the Chiefs play on 13 occasions in 2023-24, including flying to Las Vegas from Japan to witness her boyfriend play in the flesh. That’s the dedication that has kept their romance burning strong.
Kelce must also be credited for having his girlfriend’s back too, as he flew in from America to her shows in London and Dublin – and Kelce even participated in the choreography for one of her songs.
Travis Kelce has two clear priorities
It seems Taylor Swift’s efforts will be matched by Travis Kelce, who is prepared to make their temporarily long-distance relationship work.
The insider claims the three-time Super Bowl winner is still keen to prolong his NFL career, but has their relationship and romantic gestures high at the top of his list of priorities.
“Football is definitely still his priority but so is his relationship,” a source added to People. “He makes romantic gestures to show he’s thinking of her when they’re apart.”
The couple, who started dating in July 2023 before going official in September, are set to celebrate their one-year anniversary, with rumors of an engagement continuing to swirl.
